Whitley Penn is seeking a Deal Advisory Services Senior Associate to join our team in Dallas–Fort Worth area. The role focuses on planning and executing financial due diligence engagements for mergers & acquisitions by private equity investors and corporate buyers.

Responsibilities include leading engagements, supervising associates, and communicating with clients. Our firm emphasizes collaboration, ownership mindset, and a high-growth culture, with in-office Mon–Thu and remote Fridays option.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA license or CPA eligibility preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting, advisory, financial audit, or transaction advisory services (M&A or due diligence preferred).
• Strong current knowledge of U.S. GAAP, mergers and acquisitions, or transaction services.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects while being a team player.

Mansioni

• Participate in and lead financial due diligence engagements related to M&A.
• Analyze financial/operational results of target companies via accounting information and management interviews.
• Evaluate effects of seasonality and cyclicality on cash flow requirements.
• Assist with writing detailed reports and performing financial statement analysis (quality of earnings, liabilities, risks).
• Provide advisory services to maximize financial opportunities and manage M&A risks.
• Be part of engagement teams with senior client executives, attorneys, bankers, and private equity investors.
• Grow skills to reinforce relationships with current and potential clients.
