Job summary

Transamerica in Philadelphia is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst, Valuations & Pricing Analysis, to strengthen investment reporting, valuation, and internal controls. You will apply financial analysis, develop reports, and work with business units, technology teams, and offshore support to ensure accuracy and compliance.

This leadership role provides guidance, mentors staff, and collaborates with derivatives teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 8 years experience with degree. Advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Extracts financial data from various accounting systems to perform analyses.
• Analyzes financial data and interprets information for past performance and projections.
• Leads staff development, mentorship, and training to achieve effectiveness and customer service.
• Supports the Valuation Manager in standing up a new valuation function within investment reporting.
• Supports the valuation of derivatives and oversees work of junior staff in pricing derivatives positions.
• Participates in monthly accounting processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
