Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred; CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related business functions.
• MedTech industry experience is preferred; proficiency with Anaplan or similar tools is preferred.
• This position is located in Irvine, CA and may require up to 5% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis for US Product Development and Scientific Affairs, including business planning, forecasting, project spend analysis, headcount planning, and capital planning.
• Advise R&D leaders, department heads, and project managers on financial decisions, business plans, and priorities.
• Track actual results against plans, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate insights to executive management.
• Monitor SOX compliance and company guidance.
• Use data-driven analysis to align decisions with financial and strategic objectives.
• Improve efficiency through system implementations, process standardization, and automated reporting/analytics.
• Supervise, coach, and develop team members.
• Support ad hoc financial initiatives and special projects.
