Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Finance Lead FP&A for a contract-to-hire role based out of Minneapolis, MN. The position supports financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis, working with local and parent company leaders to deliver actionable insights.

You will forecast, develop budgets, analyze performance, and mentor FP&A staff. The role requires strong Excel skills, ability to communicate finance language, and experience with enterprise finance processes in a fast-paced

Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience in a financial analyst, FP&A, or financial business partner role.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise finance and accounting processes.
  • Ability to communicate finance language clearly across all levels.
  • Experience with IT services firms preferred and SAP experience optional.

  • Strategic advisor to business leaders and finance partners.
  • Governance over planning, analysis, and forecast activities.
  • Lead strategic planning for Support Functions and OH.
  • Coordinate with Finance Business Partners and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Interface directly with executives.

  • Mentor junior FP&A and Finance Business Partners.
  • Perform financial modeling and ensure timely reporting.
  • Support ongoing financial close and budgeting cycles.
  • Maintain data structures and advise on future structures.
  • Support pricing analysis and continuous FP&A improvement.
  • Provide financial reporting to local and parent leadership.

Description

The role of Finance Lead FP&A is critical to the financial success of our client. The position is responsible for supporting all financial reporting, planning, forecasting and ad hoc assignments for the company. You will work closely with local & parent company leaders to deliver reporting that will be used to steer the company towards its operational and financial targets. You will create forecasts, develop budgets, and analyze performance, ultimately helping management make informed choices. You are a critical support point for internal finance business partners & accounting. Provide governance for FP&A activities for multiple departments. You will serve as a critical support point for finance business partners and the accounting team.

What you do
  • Strategic advisor to business leaders & finance business partners

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
