Job summary

Whitley Evergreen is seeking a Lead Final Finish Technician to oversee and perform final finishing work on interior components in our manufacturing environment. You will lead a team, follow blueprints, and ensure high quality finishes across walls, trims, flooring, cabinets, and countertops.

The role requires at least two years in construction or manufacturing, a HS diploma or GED, and fluent English for clear communication, with emphasis on safety and timely project completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead a department, performing finishing and installation of interior building components in a manufacturing setting.
• Follow blueprints, design plans and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
• Install drywall/sheetrock/FRP, interior trim, flooring, cove base, wall panels, cabinets, countertops and window casings.
• Coordinate daily schedules, assignments and project priorities with management.
• Inspect finished work for quality and compliance with project specifications and company standards.
• Train and mentor team members on proper techniques, safety practices, and quality expectations.

Position Objective: The Lead Final Finish Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing final finishing work, ensuring all interior and exterior details meet quality standards and project specifications. This role leads a team of technicians, coordinates daily tasks, and serves as the primary point of contact for final phase execution and completion.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead a Department, performing construction and installation of interior building finishes and components in a Manufacturing setting.
• Follow blueprints, design plans and specifications to ensure accurate installation
• Install wall panel (drywall/sheetrock/FRP)
• Cut and Install interior trim
• Install flooring and cove base
• Install ceiling grid components and tiles
• Make and install window casing and trim
• Install windows and blinds
• Hang interior doors and apply hardware,
• Hang door trim
• Install upper and lower cabinets
• Install laminate countertops
• Clean-up of the units
• Coordinate daily schedules, assignments, and project priorities with management
• Perform detailed finishing tasks including touch-ups, repairs, cleaning, and installations
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards
• Identify deficiencies and direct corrective actions to meet deadlines
• Train and mentor team members on proper techniques, safety practices, and quality expectations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in safe and organized condition
• Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
