Job summary

Behr Paint Company is seeking a Lead Machine Operator to manage the filling line, ensure safe production, and guide teammates in proper methods and safety procedures. You will inspect quality, verify labels and batch codes, and keep materials staged for efficient operation.

You will train new employees, operate line equipment (labelers, bailers, fillers, forklifts, automated controls), and help with line feeding, troubleshooting, and inventory tracking.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Dedicated individual to lead the filling line, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe production throughout each shift.
• Support for team members by providing clear instructions on proper work methods, safety protocols, and high quality production standards.
• Skilled operators who can handle filling line equipment - labelers, bailers, fillers, forklifts, and automated control systems with accuracy and professionalism.
• Train new employees, oversee line feeding activities, and ensure all pre‑production and in process work meets safety and quality expectations.
• Detail driven performers who keep production flowing by maintaining equipment, tracking inventory, and delivering accurate reports on line output and performance.
• Responsibilities involve lifting products up to 75 lbs, several times throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation.
