Job summary

Behr Paint Company is seeking a Machine/Filling Operator on a full-time basis. You will be trained with multiple lines, cross-trained to assist on any line, and assigned to a production line at the start of each shift.

You will oversee filling, case-packing on solo lines, or share filling and packing duties on dual-operator lines. The role requires excellent attendance, a strong commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn and grow within the plant.

Qualifications

• Excellent attendance; operators are vital to operations.
• Commitment to safety; wear proper safety equipment including steel-toed shoes.
• Desire to learn and grow; many managers started as operators.
• Physical ability; standing for shift; lifting up to 50 pounds; HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Fill and case-pack on solo lines.
• On dual-operator lines, you and a partner share each role.
• Pull cans to weigh them and verify filling equipment weight parameters.
• Do changeovers between paints and keep the cardboard machine stocked with cases.
• Assist others as needed on the line.
