E2 Consulting Engineers, LP in Houston seeks a Lead Senior FileMaker / Claris Engineer to steer a development team and bridge legacy FileMaker with modern, scalable cloud infrastructures.

You will architect complex schemas, lead multi-tenant FileMaker apps, collaborate with front-end teams, and explore AI-enabled automation to accelerate delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep expertise and the ability to mentor engineers in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Expert-Level FileMaker with scripting, relational design, server management, and Data API usage.
• Cloud architecture experience designing serverless apps on AWS and multi-tenant SaaS structures.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and collaboration with full-stack teams.
• Leadership experience mentoring engineers and delivering complex integrations.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: mentor and lead a team of engineers, setting standards for code and architecture.
• Advanced FileMaker Development: architect, optimize, and maintain complex, multi-tenant FileMaker apps.
• Cloud & Microservices Integration: design integrations between FileMaker and AWS serverless services.
• Full-Stack Collaboration: work with JavaScript front-ends (Angular/React) to build robust UIs.
• Database Modeling: design data models and bridge FileMaker with PostgreSQL solutions.
• AI & Automation: identify AI tools and automate workflows to accelerate development.
