Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced welding technician to supervise and perform field welding tasks at client sites. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and leadership, with responsibilities spanning from equipment operation to mentoring junior technicians.

Travel to various sites is expected, and proficiency in GTAW, SMAW, and GMAW is required. Qualified candidates should have at least a HS diploma (ASME/API 1104 preferred) and a TWIC card or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Associate degree, vocational training, or relevant industry experience.
• Five+ years welding experience in ASME and API 1104.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform field welding operations at client sites.
• Operate and tend welding machines per specifications.
• Plan tasks from production schedules and select welding methods.
• Inspect welded surfaces for flaws and ensure quality.
• Maintain welding equipment and safety standards.
• Document welding activities and supervise junior technicians.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less qualified staff.
