Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an experienced welding technician to supervise and perform field welding operations at client sites, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and project specifications. You will read schedules, select welding methods, and document activities across multiple sites.

The role requires five years of welding experience, proficiency with GTAW/SMAW/GMAW, and the ability to pass a Code Welder exam. Travel to various sites and training for ongoing competence are expected.

Qualifications

• Five years welding experience with ASME and API 1104.
• Ability to pass a standard Code Welder exam.
• Able to operate GTAW, SMAW and GMAW welding processes.
• Read engineering specifications.
• License and TWIC card or ability to obtain TWIC.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform field welding operations at client sites.
• Read production schedules and select welding method.
• Prepare components for welding per specs.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces for flaws.
• Maintain welding equipment for safety.
• Document welding activities.
• Supervise welding projects and mentor junior technicians.
• Attend required training to maintain competence.
• Identify circumstances requiring proper safety procedures.
• Document all field welder service activities.
