Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a senior technician to anchor major placements, lead pours, and own the quality of the project records. You will mentor junior technicians and interface with engineers and building officials on high-stakes inspections.

The role requires certifications (ICC Reinforced Concrete or Soils, NICET Level II+ or ACI), travel for defined programs, and the ability to manage the recording process across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CMT or special inspection experience.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete or Soils, NICET Level II+, or ACI certifications.
• Willing to travel for defined project programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work.
• Mentor and check junior field technicians; coordinate daily with superintendents, engineers, and officials.
• Document inspections per project IBC special inspection programs.
