Job summary

Rain for Rent in Ohio is seeking a Field Technician III to lay out, assemble, and maintain pipe, pumps, and related equipment at agricultural or industrial sites. You will positively represent the Company and maintain good relations with customers.

The role requires reading work orders, selecting materials, loading and unloading, and sometimes leading a crew or working independently while ensuring safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Able to read a map and calculate distances.
• Must be motivated, a team player, safety-oriented, and have a customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Select pipe sizes and types and related materials according to specifications.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment with appropriate tools, machinery, and other equipment according to specifications.
• Lead a crew or complete projects independently, as required by management.
• Inspect equipment, vehicles, and tools for safety and functionality prior to travel to customer sites.
• Track and maintain company tools and supplies and report any damaged or missing items to Supervisor.
• Complete Job Site Analysis for customer or job sites where work is to be performed.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment according to project specifications.
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipe lines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
• Using hand and power tools, modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, pumps, and related machines per specifications.
