Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Field Technician II to lay out, assemble, and maintain pipe, pumps, and related equipment for agricultural or industrial work sites. You will represent the company with customers and ensure safe, reliable operation of our temporary liquid handling systems.

You will read work orders, select materials, load and unload equipment, inspect tools, perform system testing, and support on-site demount and handover with customers.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to read a map and calculate distances.
• Must be motivated, a team player, safety-oriented, and have a customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive instructions to determine assignments and material needs.
• Select pipe sizes and types per specifications.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment.
• Inspect equipment, vehicles, and tools for safety and functionality before travel.
• Track and maintain tools and supplies; report missing items.
• Complete Job Site Analysis for customer sites.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and equipment per project specs.
• Inspect, test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauges or hydrostatic testing.
• Demonstrate equipment to customers during install/testing if required.
