Job summary

Pavion is seeking a talented Lead Technician to join our integration business unit in Brunswick, GA. You will provide onsite support for fire, security, and AV systems, perform installations and preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot complex issues with speed and professionalism.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, collaboration with management, and accurate reporting of work orders. A high school diploma and 3–5 years of field tech experience are required, along with a valid driver's

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in a similar technical role.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Familiar with IP/Networking and OS evolutions.
• Experience with Crestron, Extron, AMX control programming.
• Understanding of SOWs, blueprints, schematics, and installation best practices.
• Pro Audio, DSP and Live Sound experience.
• IP Video Based Certification.
• Preferred: Associates degree and industry certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite tech support for various issues.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to strengthen relationships.
• Handle field service calls, installations, and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose system issues and determine corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions with standard test equipment.
• Repair or replace worn or defective parts.
• Assist in installation/configuration for new or maintenance jobs.
• Maintain service van inventory and tools.
• Occasional travel for service projects.
