Gateway Fiber, LLC is seeking a Field Technician to install and service wireless internet at customer locations across town and rural areas. You will dispatch from home daily and work in your assigned geographical area, representing the company with professionalism.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, basic computer ability, and a valid driver's license. You will join a team that values safety, reliability, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must live in the area you will be servicing.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and climb ladders.
• Experience in cable/satellite installation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Dispatch daily from home and work in your geographic area.
• Install and service wireless internet at customer locations.
• Maintain inventory for company vehicles.
• Follow safety rules and procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and maintained.
• Distribute marketing materials and promote Gateway.
• Provide excellent verbal communications and customer service.

At Gateway Fiber, we connect people to Internet and Phone service in-town and rural with fixed wireless and fiber technologies. Gateway Fiber is looking for individuals with excellent customer service skills paired with technical ability. As a Field Technician you will play a vital role in the continued stability and growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch from your home daily and work in your geographical area.
• Perform installation and service of wireless internet at customer locations.
• Maintain inventory of necessary materials and tools for company vehicles.
• Recognize, practice, and ensure safety rules and procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and maintained.
• Hand out marketing material, and willingly promote Gateway
• Excellent verbal communications and customer service skills
• Possess basic computer skills and be willing to learn new technologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-change environment while managing multiple interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day.
• Must demonstrate accountability in order to set priorities, organize workload, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
• Must be professional in dress, speech, and manner.

Qualifications

• Network skills are a plus, but not required, Gateway will train the right candidate.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Possess basic computer skills
• Must live in the area you will be servicing/assigned to
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
