Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. seeks a Survey Party Chief to lead field surveying crews, manage data collection, and ensure safety and accuracy on diverse projects. Experience with GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors is preferred. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities are essential.

The role requires valid driver's license, willingness to travel, and the ability to work long hours in varying weather. Candidates should be prepared to operate and supervise survey equipment on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of land surveying field experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel overnight.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Leadership and mentoring skills.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Record and report field data accurately per project requirements.
• Supervise a 2–3 person survey crew.
• Ensure safety and compliance on job sites per OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and supervisors.
• Train and mentor crew members and oversee equipment use.
