KCI Technologies is seeking a Survey Party Chief to lead a field surveying crew and manage data collection on diverse projects. The role requires hands-on experience with GPS, robotic total stations, and data collection devices, plus the ability to mentor junior crew members.

The position involves traveling up to 75% and working in varying weather conditions, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and adherence to client standards. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant field surveying experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise the survey field crew to complete tasks accurately.
• Record and file daily forms per project requirements.
• Maintain legible field notes and sketches for records.
• Verify work meets industry standards and client requirements before submission.
• Travel up to 75% and work long days, including evenings/weekends when required.
