Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a survey crew chief or instrument operator.
• Proficiency with total stations and GPS equipment.
• Leadership and team-motivation skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews to complete boundary, topo, and construction staking surveys.
• Plan survey activities, selecting methods, procedures, and equipment.
• Operate total stations and GPS; ensure data accuracy.
• Document field data and deliverables with thorough notes.
• Mentor junior crew members and enforce safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulations.
