Job summary

Clayco is seeking a senior field operations leader in the St. Louis area to manage on-site construction activities, supervise subcontractors, and oversee field engineering, contracts, and budgeting.

The role ensures safety, quality, and adherence to schedules while maintaining strong client communication. You will develop plans for safety, environmental compliance, labor strategy, and construction execution, coordinating with the project management team to deliver complex, mission-critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 20–25 years of relevant experience with progressive responsibility.
• OSHA 30 required.
• Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders and multi-floor scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Organize and direct all on-site construction activities and supervise field operations.
• Ensure compliance with design, specifications, schedule, and budget.
• Manage subcontractors, field engineering, cost, procurement, and reporting.
• Develop and execute safety, environmental compliance, and site rules.
• Coordinate with project management to maintain client relationships and communicate field activities.
