Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to supervise field construction on a large or complex project, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery to quality standards. This role requires coordinating with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors, developing site logistics and schedules, and managing safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of four years’ related training and at least 15 years of building construction experience required, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Proficient in all aspects of building systems and in reading contracts, drawings and specifications.
• Proficient knowledge of building codes, cost control procedures and accounting.
• Experience with BIM and lean methods to support project goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervises field construction of a large or complex project or multiple projects to complete work on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Liaises with owners, architects and engineers for day-to-day activities.
• Develops project set-up, site logistics and overall work schedules including critical path items.
