Hickory Construction, Inc. in Knoxville, TN seeks a Project Superintendent to lead daily onsite operations, coordinate subcontractors, and uphold quality and safety standards to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires strong construction management experience, Procore/MS Project proficiency, and excellent communication. On-site, full-time work with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or similar field strongly recommended.
• At least 6 months in a Project Superintendent or equivalent position.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, MS Office, MS Project and web-based applications.
• Procore Project Manager Certifications required.
• Considerable experience in high pressure situations and projects with tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and non-verbal methods with both internal and external customers.
• Ability to work independently to carry out the scope of the project with minimal oversight and assistance from supervisor.
• OSHA 30 and CPR certified within 12 months of position acquisition.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily onsite operations and coordinate subcontractors.
• Maintain quality and safety standards on site.
• Prepare Project Schedules on MS Project and review with PM.
• Ensure company Safety Policy is followed by all individuals on site.
• Coordinate all work to minimize rework and delays.
• Monitor project progress daily and report to supervisor.
• Coordinate meetings with subcontractors and distribute notes to team.
• Maintain project documents, specifications, milestones, and budget updates.
• Coordinate equipment needs and budget impact feedback.
• Serve as the primary owner contact and conduct OAC meetings.
