Job summary

Miranda Construction in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site coordination from groundbreaking to turnover, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality across commercial projects.

You will direct subcontractors, manage complex sequences, and maintain daily site documentation while upholding Miranda's standards for safety and collaboration. This hands-on role requires decisive leadership and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable Superintendent or Lead Foreman experience on commercial construction projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple subcontractors and complex jobsite sequencing.
• Thorough knowledge of construction trades and sequencing.
• Understanding of commercial construction means, methods, and safety requirements.
• Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, safety rules, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field activities and schedule execution across projects.
• Walk site daily to monitor progress and support planning.
• Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Identify conflicts and communicate solutions to the project team.
• Perform quality control inspections and enforce plans and codes.
• Issue notices of non-compliance and ensure deficiencies are corrected.
• Coordinate inspections with authorities and manage punch lists.
• Ensure subcontractors meet contracted scope and safety standards.
• Communicate RFIs, ASIs, and submittals; pre-construction meetings.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings; maintain site safety.
