Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a Field Services Senior Project Manager in Atlanta to lead medium to large client projects, manage budgets, schedules, and resources, and ensure quality outcomes.

You will supervise project staff, partner with field operations, and act as the primary client contact on deliverables. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with experience in utility infrastructure and project management.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma with 4+ years relevant utility infrastructure experience.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, influence and direct team members.
• Ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision.
• Understanding of operations, processes, and standards in utility industry or related field.
• Understanding of contracts.
• Minimum 2 years in project planning or construction management.
• Obtain and maintain professional licenses/certifications as required.
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision making.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR; pass Davey Driver’s Safety Course.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years utility mapping experience preferred.
• 3 years of PM/CPM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute projects to meet client scope within budget and time.
• Attend meetings, capture actions, and report on deliverables and issues.
• Supervise Project Supervisors/Coordinators and serve as client contact.
• Collaborate with field operations and support staff to deliver projects.
• Provide on-site field support and on-the-job training to the team.
• Lead hiring, evaluations, promotions, and career development.
• Ensure safety, quality, and timely client billing and invoicing.
