Job summary

Shermco Industries, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager, Field Services to lead electrical services projects from inspection through data collection, with half of duties spent in the field.

You will work closely with sales on estimates and coordinate with crews and customers to ensure project success. The role requires 5+ years of project management in electrical maintenance or switchgear, plus relevant certifications and safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; prefer an Associate’s degree in Electrical Power or equivalent training.
• 5+ years of experience managing electrical maintenance shutdowns/turnarounds or switchgear commissioning.
• Experience with PowerDB, Doble software, RTS or Protest relay testing is preferred.
• NE TA certification a plus but not required; OSHA 30/first aid/CPR training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical services projects including inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and data collection for low to 500kV systems.
• Spend at least 50% of duties in the field.
• Assist in pre-planning, walkthroughs, and estimating with sales for quotes.
• Assign crew members to jobs and interface with customers for updates and issues.
• Identify opportunities for expanded scope and coordinate with Account Manager on billing.
• Monitor job budget via time and material costs of technicians.
