Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites in Fremont, CA. This hands-on role welcomes experienced field service professionals from semiconductor, HVAC, automotive, industrial maintenance, or related electromechanical fields who bring strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Qualifications

Associate of Science in Electronics or equivalent experience.
3–10+ years in semiconductor or related industry preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

Service equipment at customer sites or service center including preventive maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, installations, and start-ups.
Interpret operation manuals to determine root causes of tool failures.
Document maintenance, downtime, issues, and prepare reports for product movement.
Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
Diagnose failures using service checklists and protocols.
Provide technical support to customers on operation and maintenance.
