Job summary

Eos Energy Enterprises is seeking a Sr. Field Service Technician to install, commission, and support our commercial BESS systems and third-party products in field deployments across North America. The role involves direct customer interaction, on-site visits, and remote troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in Electrical/Electronics, strong safety training, and the ability to travel up to 100% for extended periods. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Three+ years field experience in Electrical/Electronics/Power electronics and/or network communications recommended.
Trade/vocational college focusing on electrical work/renewable energy/electronics preferred.
Prior experience in renewable energy, preferably energy storage, strongly preferred.
Electrical safety training such as NFPA70E preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair and analyze BESS and third-party products in the field, remotely, or on-site visits.
Use Field Service and Work Order tools to update information timely.
Write reports, train customers, and respond to concerns about system functionality.
Develop detailed knowledge of Eos’ products and third-party products sold by Eos.
Perform acceptance and performance testing, startups, shutdowns, and commissioning of BESS.
Work with high voltage DC electricity, three-phase power, and related software.
Occasionally lead site teams and provide guidance to contractors.
Produce detailed reports for Engineers and Managers on site activities and performance.
Ensure safety and operational protocol compliance.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
