Honeywell is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician in Charlotte, NC to lead installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of utility metering systems. You will train and mentor technicians, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with customers to resolve complex issues.
You will report to the Field Service Manager and operate on-site in Charlotte, delivering reliable metering performance and supporting smart energy deployments for our industrial automation customers.
As a Lead Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will specialize in utility meter installations and service within our Industrial Automation Smart Energy business unit. You will be responsible for leading the installation, training, safety, quality, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced utility metering systems, ensuring accurate measurement and reliable operation for our energy customers. Your expertise will be key to supporting the deployment of smart energy solutions that drive efficiency and sustainability.
You will report directly to our Field Service Manager, and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the accuracy and reliability of utility metering infrastructure, enabling customers to optimize energy usage, improve billing accuracy, and support smart grid initiatives.
