The role requires interpreting blueprints and specs, performing welds, fabrication, inspections, and coordinating with branch leadership to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Accreditation from a technical school or welding program preferred.
• 4–6 years of field service, mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, welding, fabrication, repair, or skilled trades experience.
• Ability to lead by coordinating assigned work, supporting workflow, coaching less experienced team members, reinforcing safety and quality expectations, and serving as a technical resource.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, weld symbols, schematics, equipment manuals, and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead field service, fabrication, welding, assembly, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting work as a hands-on technical leader.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, fabricate, weld, assemble, and inspect equipment at customer sites, branch locations, or fabrication work areas.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, schematics, manuals, and customer specifications to plan work and guide execution.
• Weld, fit, cut, grind, fabricate, and join metal components using welding equipment and shop tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and quality checks to verify safe operation and conformance to specs.
• Coordinate daily priorities, workflow, materials, tools, documentation, and customer expectations with Branch Manager and team.
• Coach, train, and mentor customer personnel and junior team members in proper practices.
• Review work in progress for quality, safety, and readiness for customer delivery.
