Job summary

MFCP - Motion & Flow Control Products, Inc. seeks a Field Service & Fabrication Technician to lead advanced field service, fabrication, welding, and assembly for customer-owned equipment and Motion Solutions units. You will interpret drawings, plan tasks, and ensure safe, high‑quality work on customer sites and facilities.

You will supervise and mentor technicians, coordinate priorities with the Branch Manager, and uphold safety, quality, and productivity standards in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• Accreditation from a technical school, applicable skilled trades program, welding program, or equivalent hands‑on technical training preferred.
• Requires 4 to 6 years of progressively responsible field service, mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, welding, fabrication, assembly, repair, or skilled trades experience.
• Demonstrated ability to perform as a lead by coordinating assigned work, supporting workflow, coaching less experienced team members, reinforcing safety and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead field service, fabrication, welding, assembly, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting work at customer sites.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, fabricate, weld, assemble, and inspect equipment and Motion Solutions units at various locations.
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, schematics, and manuals to plan work and guide execution.
• Coordinate daily priorities, materials, tools, documentation, and customer expectations with leadership.
• Train and mentor customers and junior team members in maintenance, safety, and fabrication practices.
• Ensure work meets safety, quality, timelines, and profitability targets.
