Job summary

Maguire, the water storage tank specialist, seeks a Field Industrial Sandblaster & Repair Foreman to lead the field crew on tower projects in Kansas City. You will supervise sandblasting and painting, implement safety procedures, and train staff.

This role requires five years blasting/painting and at least one year in foreman capacity, with strong communication, time management, and on-site leadership. On-site work involves weather exposure and heights.

Qualifications

• Five years of sandblasting and painting experience.
• One year of foreman/supervisor experience.
• Ability to climb to heights up to 200 feet daily.
• Work in extreme weather conditions (heat/cold).
• Strong safety awareness and PPE adherence.
• Clear communication and training ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the field crew and prioritize SAFETY in all tasks.
• Oversee rigging, sandblasting, painting using pots and pumps.
• Interpret specifications/drawings and relay to the team.
• Train new employees on rigging, safety, and equipment use.
• Present customer sign-off and manage daily production paperwork.
• Maintain equipment and lead weekly safety toolbox meetings.
