Job summary

Maguire Iron, Inc. is seeking a Field Industrial Sandblaster & Repair Foreman to lead the field crew in sandblasting and painting existing elevated water towers. The role emphasizes safety, team leadership, and proper use of rigging, blast pots, and paint equipment.

The Foreman will train new employees on safety, review production paperwork, and ensure work is completed on time while maintaining equipment and documenting job progress onsite.

Qualifications

• Five years of sandblasting and painting experience.
• One year of foreman/supervisor experience.
• High School Graduate or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crew with safety as the number one priority.
• Sandblast and paint elevated water towers using rigging, blast pots, and paint pumps.
• Train crew on safety and equipment use.
• Review crew timecards and daily production paperwork.
• Lead weekly safety toolbox meetings and document customer sign-offs.
• Maintain and improve rigging, safety, painting and sandblasting equipment.
