Job summary

Kiewit Power Constructors District is seeking a Lead Field Engineer to manage overall performance for construction projects and maintain direct client relationships. You will provide oversight of estimation and complete project management for multiple project teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Construction Management; Business or related field.
10+ years’ experience in Power Construction market.
Experience as Project Manager or Project Director overseeing contracts, estimating and client relations.
Strong knowledge of scheduling, contracts, and multi-discipline coordination.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Leads safety culture and ensures Nobody Gets Hurt.
Supports executive leadership with strategy development and initiatives.
Oversees multiple construction teams through preconstruction and construction.
Develops strategic plans for new business opportunities and client relations.
Manages primary client relationships to generate new business.
Oversees preconstruction, estimating, and proposals for opportunities.
Leads contract negotiations and solutions.
Engages with the community and professional organizations.
Retains senior management responsibility for project performance (financial, schedule, client relations).
Ensures staffing sufficiency and supports recruiting and retention.
