Descrizione del lavoro

Interstates is seeking electricians in the Omaha area to lead field teams on electrical, controls, and commissioning projects for industrial facilities. You will coordinate daily field work, perform hands-on electrical tasks, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence across multiple sites.

Candidates should have a state journeyman license and industrial electrical experience, with BIM/VDC knowledge preferred.

Competenze

Must have state issued journeyman electrician license (or equivalent).
Industrial electrical experience required.
Advanced training in electrical troubleshooting, testing, controls, service work, or commissioning required.
Knowledge of BIM/VDC Technology preferred.

Mansioni

Coordinate daily work for apprentices and journeymen while performing hands-on electrical work in the field each day.
Lead service and commissioning activities, including electrical installation, troubleshooting, testing, and startup support.
Develop short-term plans and coordinate access, outages, testing, materials, tools, and vendor support.
Ensure work meets Interstates safety, quality, and planning requirements.
Track progress against schedule and communicate constraints, risks, and significant issues to the foreman.
Review field documentation and verify commissioning and turnover records are complete and submitted on time.
Provide technical direction, coaching, and performance feedback to crew members.
Serve as the primary field contact for routine service and commissioning updates.
The ability to lead/develop up to 3 electricians
Knowledge of other construction trades
Ability to stand, walk ,and lift up to 100 lbs in construction work environment
Ability to climb, and maintain balance, on ladders and scaffolds while carrying tools
May be exposed to high and precarious places
Risk of electrical shock and outside weather conditions
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
Other duties may be assigned
