Job summary

BROTHERS Pro-Pave LLC seeks a Field Construction Manager to lead on-site activities in Bucyrus, KS. You will oversee subcontractors and field crews, ensure work meets plans, safety standards, and schedules, and maintain open lines of communication with project managers and clients.

You will conduct site surveys, manage drainage checks, and document progress with daily reports in the PaveIT system, traveling regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or business.
• Hands-on pavement construction knowledge preferred.
• Technically savvy with devices and software.

Responsibilities

• Oversees on-site construction activities to keep projects safe, on schedule, and within budget.
• Coordinates daily operations, manages subcontractors and field personnel.
• Ensures compliance with plans, specs and company standards.
• Identifies issues early, facilitates solutions, communicates with PMs, engineers and clients.
• Demonstrates leadership, organization and problem-solving to maintain efficient job sites.
• Conducts site surveys to define scope and identify problem areas.
• Checks drainage type and condition.
• Performs material and soil testing as needed.
• Submits surveys and uploads reports/photos to PaveIT.
• Travels to job sites and monitors work from start to finish to minimize punch lists.
• Acts as on-site quality control to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed per policy.
• Keeps detailed records and uploads daily reports/photos.
• Communicates with project manager daily.
• Builds rapport with client, subcontractors and professionals.
• Leads pre-construction meetings and daily briefings with stakeholders.
