Aspen Neuroscience seeks a Senior Clinical Specialist, Surgical Operations to join as a founding field-team member supporting neurosurgical procedures for Parkinson’s cell therapy studies. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, nursing, neuroscience, life sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of field clinical support or trial-facing procedural roles in complex, procedure-driven environments (neurosurgery, implantable therapies, image-guided interventions).
• Extensive hands-on experience supporting high-acuity neurosurgical or interventional procedures with familiarity of cranial, stereotactic, or intracranial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead field-based clinical and technical guidance on surgical workflow and case management while setting expectations for execution consistency.
• Lead site onboarding and ongoing capability development for investigators, surgeons, and teams to align with standardized practices and trial requirements.
• Drive site pre-case readiness across scheduling, staffing, materials, imaging coordination, and procedural flow.
• Provide advanced onsite support during complex neurosurgical procedures, delivering real-time guidance and resolving issues.
• Ensure protocol compliance, patient safety, and data integrity across sites.
• Establish and maintain relationships with investigators and hospital stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Synthesize field insights to inform cross-functional decision-making across Clinical Operations, Medical, Quality, and Regulatory.
• Lead continuous improvement by translating field experience into training programs and site readiness models.
• Contribute to standardization of the surgical delivery model across the clinical network.
• Mentor junior clinical specialists and cross-functional partners.
• Support trial expansion including site activation and investigator engagement.
• Provide thought partnership in internal reviews and planning.
