Job summary

A leading archaeological firm is seeking a qualified candidate to oversee archaeological projects, including fieldwork and report writing, throughout Texas. This position requires a Master's Degree in anthropology or archaeology and at least 4 years of experience. Strong communication skills and proficiency in relevant software are essential. Candidates should hold a valid driver's license and may need to provide a writing sample from their academic or professional work.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience, including at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Must meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Qualification Standards for Archaeologists.
• Must be able to provide a writing sample from either a thesis, dissertation, or archaeological report.

Responsibilities

• Conducts archaeological field work with the ability to identify artifacts.
• Collects data during archaeological investigations.
• Documents methodologies and findings of research.

Skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Education
