A reputable archaeological firm in Round Rock, TX is seeking an experienced Archaeologist responsible for managing and conducting archaeological projects. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in a related field, along with over 4 years of relevant experience including fieldwork supervision. Key duties include conducting site investigations, writing reports, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. The position requires strong communication skills and proficiency with software tools. Candidates must meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Qualification Standards.

Qualifications

• Must meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Qualification Standards for Archaeologists.
• 4+ years of experience with at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Regional experience in historic and/or prehistoric archaeology.

Responsibilities

• Conducts archaeological field work and identifies artifacts.
• Collects data during archaeological investigations.
• Documents methodologies and findings of archaeological research.

Skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Education

Master’s Degree in anthropology, archaeology, or closely related field
