Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Lead Fence Installer in the Conley, GA area to lead temporary fencing projects across the Metro Atlanta region. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with your crew, acting as the primary on-site leader and driving non-CDL trucks to move equipment and materials.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety, and reliable site delivery. The position requires hands-on field work, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50–80 lbs.

Qualifications

• Leads by example, motivates crew, and maintains safety on site.
• Able to operate non-CDL trucks and transport crew and gear.
• Experience supervising construction or fencing crews is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on-site, build and tear down temporary fencing per specs.
• Own the on-site workflow, coordinate with clients, and ensure on-time completion.
• Supervise and mentor crew; enforce site safety and conduct safety time-outs as needed.
• Drive non-CDL trucks, transport equipment, and secure loads to DOT standards.
• Complete daily reports and inventory logs with accuracy.

Sunbelt Rentals is looking for a Lead Fence Installer to lead temporary fencing setup and breakdown projects across the Metro Atlanta Area.In this role, you aren’t just sitting in a truck delegating—you’re out on the field working shoulder-to-shoulder with your crew while serving as the primary lead on the job site. You’ll also take the wheel of our non-CDL company trucks to safely haul equipment, fencing materials, and your team to and from jobsites.Key ResponsibilitiesLead by Example: Work alongside your installation crew to safely build, install, and tear down temporary fencing and barricades according to project specs.Job Site Ownership: Serve as the main point of contact on-site, coordinate with clients, manage daily tasks, and ensure high-quality, on-time completion.Crew Management & Safety: Supervise, train, and mentor crew members. Set a high bar for site safety, conduct site checklists, and feel empowered to call a "Safety Time Out" whenever necessary.Drive & Logistics: Safely operate non-CDL company vehicles (such as 1-ton trucks) to transport your crew, equipment, and materials, ensuring all loads are secured to DOT standards.Documentation & Detail: Complete daily job reports, site checklists, and inventory logs accurately.What We’re Looking ForHands-On Leadership: Proven ability to motivate a team, manage site workflow, and lead under tight deadlines.Driving Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) suitable to clear background checks for operating company vehicles.Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions, including lifting and carrying fence panels (approx. 50–80 lbs).Technical Skills: Comfortable using hand and power tools (drills, post drivers, power washers, banding equipment).
