Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in agriculture, animal science, feed manufacturing, or related field.
• 3+ years in feed mill operations or similar production environment.
• Experience in supervisory/leadership roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of feed formulation, processing, and quality control.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for animal feed production.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate feed mill operations to ensure efficient feed production.
• Monitor mixing, grinding, and pelletizing processes to maintain feed quality.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory of materials and finished feed.
• Lead and train feed mill staff; assign daily tasks and monitor performance.
• Promote safety, efficiency, and teamwork within the mill.
• Oversee compliance with FDA, USDA, FSMA standards and biosecurity rules.
• Maintain records and analyze metrics for continuous improvement.
