Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Centre, Alabama, is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join our fast-paced urgent care team. You will provide patient-focused care across the full scope of practice, treating patients from infants to seniors and leading a small team after on-site orientation.

Qualifications

• FNP board certification required.
• MSN or higher degree required (new graduate friendly).
• DOT certification preferred or willing to obtain (company covers).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and MS Office (Word, Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses in urgent care.
• Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal).
• Suturing and splinting.
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review radiographs with Radiologist.
• Provide dermatology and eye care, and EKG interpretations.
• Telemedicine and occupational medicine involvement.
