Job summary

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley Family Medicine Residency Program seeks an Associate Program Director to guide residents through a comprehensive curriculum and mentor faculty. This key leadership role reports to the Program Director and advances the program’s educational mission in a rural community setting.

The candidate will oversee curricula, evaluations, recruitment, and CME activities while collaborating with the Rural Family Medicine residency program, UC Davis affiliation, and AHMG.

Qualifications

• Board certification by ABFM in appropriate specialty or subspecialty.
• Active CA medical license and DEA certification.
• Annual CPR certification.
• Graduation from an accredited medical school with completion of a Residency program.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the absence of the Program Director to ensure continuity of the residency program.
• Design, monitor, and enhance curricula with clear goals and objectives.
• Provide faculty advisory support and leadership to residents.
• Collaborate on resident lectures and hands-on curriculum development.
• Support resident quality improvement research projects.
