Job summary

The City of Wentzville is seeking a dedicated Lead Facility Attendant at the Wentzville Rec Center in Wentzville, MO. This full-time role performs cleaning, general care, routine maintenance, and event setups across City facilities.

The position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs. Responsibilities include custodial duties, room setup, light repairs, inventory management, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Prior relevant experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred, or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment required.
• Lift Truck Certification required within 180 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Custodial & Building Maintenance: daily cleaning and general labor to keep spaces safe and attractive.
• Meeting Room Setup & Event Logistics: set up/tear down tables, chairs, A/V gear and equipment.
• Routine Repairs & Facility Operations: light plumbing repairs and basic maintenance on mechanical/electrical equipment; report defects.
• Inventory & Deliveries: receive, stock, and track custodial supplies and building materials.
• Professionalism & Compliance: deliver respectful service and comply with safety standards.
