Job summary

The City of Wentzville seeks a dedicated Lead Facility Attendant to manage cleaning, maintenance, and event setups across city facilities. You will oversee routine janitorial tasks, floor care, trash handling, and provide meeting room setups with A/V equipment.

Responsibilities include light plumbing, safe operation of equipment, inventory control, and responsive service to staff and the public. CPR/First Aid and lift truck certification are preferred, with licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine janitorial duties and daily cleaning to keep facilities safe and presentable.
• Maintain floors and clean interior windows; manage trash and recycle streams.
• Set up meeting rooms and event spaces with tables, chairs, A/V gear, and equipment.
• Assist with light plumbing repairs and basic facility maintenance tasks.
• Receive deliveries and manage inventory of supplies; respond to service requests.
