Job summary

Daikin Comfort is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician 3 to lead maintenance across site facilities. You will guide a team, diagnose issues, and ensure reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.

Requires 5+ years in industrial facility maintenance, a HS diploma or GED, and an associate degree preferred; journeyman license is advantageous. On-site role with strong safety, records, and project coordination responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Industrial facility maintenance experience required.
• Experience leading a team of facilities technicians.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to junior team members and directs facilities technicians.
• Leads team and performs facility maintenance duties.
• Responds to maintenance issues (reactive maintenance).
• Maintains accurate departmental records.
• Assists management in scheduling facility projects.
• Evaluates and maintains facility maintenance to prevent service interruptions.
• Performs preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance.
• Coordinates task assignments during shift changes.
• Maintains inventory of general hardware, supplies, tools, and parts.
• Manages ordering of parts for routine maintenance and repairs.
• Performs repairs and maintenance of facilities equipment.
• Assists with in-field repairs as needed.
• Maintains accurate service records on infrastructure.
• Leads development of a site-wide preventative maintenance program.
