Job summary

Daikin Group is seeking a Facilities Technician 3 to lead and perform site-wide maintenance across assigned facilities. You will guide junior technicians, assign tasks, and ensure proper tools and equipment are used, reporting issues to the Facilities Manager.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial facility maintenance, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems, plus experience reading and following policies in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or trade school preferred.
• Journeyman or Masters License preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial facility maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to junior team members, instruction, and direction to facilities technicians.
• Leads team and performs facility maintenance duties.
• Respond to maintenance issues – reactive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and complete departmental records.
• Assist management in scheduling facility projects.
• Evaluate, maintain and modify facility-related maintenance issues to prevent service interruptions.
• Perform preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance.
• Coordinate task assignments during and between shift changes.
• Maintain inventory of general hardware, supplies, tools, and parts for facilities equipment.
• Manage ordering of supplies and parts for routine maintenance and repairs.
• Perform repairs/maintenance of facilities equipment.
• Assist with in-field repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records on infrastructure.
• Lead development of a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime.
• Work safely, maintain a clean environment per procedures.
