Job summary

Omega Management Group in Wichita, KS is looking for a Chief Technician/Chief Engineer to lead the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, life-safety, and building automation systems across large commercial facilities. You will supervise technicians and contractors, drive preventive maintenance, and improve energy efficiency to optimize occupant comfort.

Qualifications

Experience with commercial building systems and facility operations.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls, and mechanical systems.
Experience coordinating maintenance teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

Lead operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, life-safety, and building automation systems.
Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
Supervise maintenance technicians, contractors, and specialty vendors.
Troubleshoot complex facility system issues while minimizing downtime.
Oversee capital improvement projects and asset management strategies.
