Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Facilities, HVAC, Electrical, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or industrial maintenance.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance tracking systems (CMMS).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to urgent maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and compressed air systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and infrastructure issues to minimize downtime.
• Support production by maintaining critical utilities and responding to facility-related service requests.
• Monitor and maintain building systems (power distribution, lighting, environmental controls).
• Assist with installation, modification, and relocation of equipment and workstations.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation in CMMS or other tracking systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Support emergency response efforts related to facility systems.
