Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee daily facility operations and lead a high-performing operations team. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, drive performance, and ensure safety and quality standards while building strong client relationships.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. Shift is 5AM-5PM, Monday-Saturday, with a pay rate of $40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in large-scale industrial or manufacturing construction environments.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and procedural manuals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of operations team members.
• Set priorities for the team to ensure completion of tasks.
• Recruit, manage, and lead a team with focus on safety and functionality.
• Monitor performance, provide training and recognition.
• Ensure staffing and schedules meet needs.
• Respond to client inquiries and concerns.
• Apply company policies to solve problems.
• Maintain training and recertification programs on schedule.
• Meet with clients to align needs and expectations.
• Implement and manage quality control and safety programs.
• Achieve operational performance and service delivery.
• Provide guidance on policies to staff.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and daily schedules.
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.
