Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Facilities Support lead to coordinate daily activities and oversee maintenance on building systems. The role requires guiding a team, managing material requests, and ensuring safety and training compliance on site.

You will supervise repairs, oversee installation and relocation of equipment, and maintain air systems and prints. A strong maintenance background and leadership are essential to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; and four to six years' experience in maintenance field; or demonstrated skills required to perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of Facilities Support team members.
• Ascertain materials required for assigned projects and manage purchases to control costs.
• Ensure Facilities Support Team Members are trained and performing assigned functions.
• Inform facilities staff of deviations or changes.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas to minimize hazards.
• Perform electrical, painting, and carpentry repairs on site.
• Oversee installation, relocation and reinstallation of equipment.
• Maintain and repair air compressors, air dryers, and vacuum systems.
• Perform simple engineering calculations for new equipment proposals.
• Update mechanical prints when changes mandate.
• Maintain HVAC and ventilation equipment per specs.
• Submit proposals for upgrades to supervisor.
• Maintain maintenance records for each equipment item.
• Troubleshoot and inspect to determine maintenance needs.
• Liaise with internal customers and vendors.
