Job summary

Five Rivers Analytics, an Akima company, is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to support facilities operations at NSWC PCD in Panama City, FL. Responsibilities span maintenance, repairs, and setup for offices and events with interaction among technical, scientific, and management personnel.

Candidate must have a high school diploma, 1 year of facilities experience, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Valid Florida driver’s license and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of general maintenance or facilities support experience.
• Experience in a government or military environment preferred.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance tasks (ceiling tiles, drywall, painting, caulking, plumbing).
• Adjust and maintain doors, door closers, and automatic openers.
• Clean air vents and respond to water intrusion events.
• Conduct HVAC condensate drain line preventive maintenance.
• Inspect fire extinguishers and AEDs monthly.
• Replace light bulbs and test emergency lighting systems.
